There is just something about this place that keeps people active (the weather that we just spoke about definitely plays a role). From hiking to mountain biking, golfing, boating, paddleboarding, skiing and more, you get a lot of bang for your buck when it comes to staying active. Popular pursuits include cycling the Kettle Valley Rail Trail and boating on Okanagan Lake.
The Okanagan is home to many world renown Ski Resorts including Big White Ski Resort and Silver Star Mountain Resort where people travel from all over the world to visit.

At every turn the Okanagan Valley will blow you away with breathtaking scenery. This includes rolling orchards and vineyards throughout the region, mountain ranges, valleys, desert, and spectacular sunsets!
The Okanagan is filled with many amazing Lakes including Lake Okanagan which spans from Vernon to Penticton, totalling over 135 KM in length!
